Learn to quilt with Alex Anderson's book "Start Quilting." You will learn all the techniques you need to know to be a successful quilter. Book purchase required.

Come learn to applique or perfect your applique skills with three fabulous instructors: Elly Sienkiewicz, Nancy Kerns and Emily Martin at our tenth annual Applique by the Bay. Just think, up to FIVE days of nothing but applique in historic Lewes, DE. We've even added a shopping spree day! We will have a reception with the teachers on Wednesday evening and a group dinner on Saturday night. Accommodations are available in the Beacon Motel, which is part of the complex where our store is located. The motel is closed for regular business at that time. The only guests will be other appliquers. You'll meet appliquers of all skill levels and maybe make a new friend or two. A continental breakfast will be served each morning as well as lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (included in fee). Apply by printed brochure available in the store or on-line.

We will take phone reservations by credit card only. Class fee is payable in FULL when you register. Class fee is not refundable unless you cancel one (1) week in advance or class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Be sure to register early to ensure that sufficient enrollment is met. If you are one of the first to sign up for a class, do not purchase supplies until we are sure there will be sufficient enrollment. We plan our classes based on supplies that we carry. We cannot be responsible for variations in supplies that you purchase elsewhere. We thank you for purchasing your materials at Mare's Bears. Please Note If the dates and times of our classes are not convenient to your schedule, we will try and accommodate you as best we can. Bring us 4 people and we will create a class for you. |
